Things to Do: February 2012

If you are looking to change up your schedule this February, you are in luck: Chicago Belt Co. has scoped out some great things to do around Chicago to cure the wintertime blues!

1.) Valentine’s Day Pastry Market in Logan Square. On February 10 & 11, Logan Square Kitchen is hosting its 3rd showcase of the best and newest local, small-batch food artisans in Chicago. For $1 admission, you can try homemade candy and baked goods, shop for a Valentine’s gift, or just sample hot cider, great coffee, or a specialty cocktail.

2.) Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place. From February 10-19, come see the 104th edition of the Chicago Auto Show featuring a complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks, sport utility vehicles, and experimental/concept cars.

3.) Chicago Restaurant Week. Enjoy prefixed menus February 17-26 at some of the best restaurants around the city. Check out the list of restaurants and make reservations here!

4.) Beadquest 4. Collect beads as you crawl through Wrigleyville on February 18 during this bar crawl  created by the founders of TBOX.

5.) Goose Island’s Beer Academy on February 29 at the Goose Island on Clybourn. On the last Wednesday of each month the Head Pub Brewer teaches about a different beer theme while you get to sample different beers from various craft breweries.
